In the final week of 2016, as many as 18 new companies settled in Lushi county, Sanmenxia, Henan province, thanks to an investment event held by the local government.
The 18 companies, including Zhengzhou-based Lanboer Eco-tech and Yuzi Urban and Rural Investment, will invest 1.27 billion yuan ($183 million) in Lushi, with a total registration capital of 480 million yuan.
The county has become a hotbed for investment in recent years, thanks to government policies and events designed to attract new businesses.
In 2016, the industrial and commercial bureau, the administrative examination and approval office, the housing and construction bureau, as well as the ministry of land and resources, approved 107,907 applications for business licenses, settlements, and registrations.
